Consulting – About Sal Tripodi
 Sal L. Tripodi is the founder of TRI Pension Services, a nationally-based consulting practice in the employee benefits area, and has practiced in the employee benefit field since 1979.
TRI Pension Services provides technical training in ERISA-related areas, presenting seminars around the country, and publishes a six-volume reference guide, The ERISA Outline Book, and two quarterly newsletters services: ERISA Views and eRISA Update.
In addition to his duties at TRI Pension Services, Mr. Tripodi has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program. Mr. Tripodi is a frequent speaker at numerous employee benefits conferences and is available for specialized employee benefits programs. He served as President of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) for the 2007-2008 year. Mr. Tripodi is the 2001 recipient of ASPPA's Educator's Award.
Mr. Tripodi is a former Tax Law Specialist with the IRS National Office (1979-1983). He received a B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (1976), a J.D. at Catholic University of America (1979) and an LL.M. at Georgetown University (1983). He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and Phi Beta Kappa. |
